In Bodrum, the popular Turkish holiday resort, renowned in antiquity under its ancient name Halicarnassus, the first stop will be at St. Peters Castle and the Museum of underwater Archaeology. The castle, built by the Knights Hospitaller in 1402, was turned into a Museum for underwater discoveries of ancient shipwrecks in 1962. Today, it houses a vast collection of amphorae, ancient glass, clay, iron and bronze. You will also visit local shops with artefacts & handicrafts reflecting the Turkish culture, before sailing on a traditional Gullet along the Turkish coast. This mini cruise will make stops at two beautiful bays where we will swim and dive into the crystal clear waters. While on the gullet, we will also have lunch. The price includes the entrance fee to the castle and museum, the gullet cruise and lunch on board the gullet.
